#12V394000In the event of a crash, if the seat belt retractor malfunctions, the passenger may not be properly restrained, increasing the risk of personal injury or death.
Technical Summary Autocar is recalling certain model year 2008-2012 Xpeditor heavy-duty class 8 vehicles, manufactured from December 17, 2007, through July 10, 2012 and equipped with a right-hand (passenger-side) Bostrom air-ride seat. The seatbelt and tether intermediate connection point (ICP) located on the seat bracket may interfere with the seatbelt retractor mechanism as the seat is pneumatically adjusted for height. Over time, the interference may cause the retractor mechanism cover to crack, allowing the retractor spring to become loose and inoperable. Thus, these vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Technical Summary Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain model year 2008-2016 Xpeditor vehicles manufactured July 30, 2007, to April 29, 2015. Excessive engine crankcase pressures may cause the 90-degree elbow of the vent tube assembly to detach from the crankcase ventilation breather, possibly allowing engine oil to come into contact with hot surfaces.

Technical Summary Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2008-2019 Xpeditor vehicles. The affected vehicles are equipped with undersized brake chambers, possibly allowing the truck to roll when parked. As a result, the vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 121, "Air brake systems."

Technical Summary Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2012-2016 Xpert, 2010-2020 Xspotter, 2008-2020 Xpeditor, 2008-2010 WXLL and WX vehicles. A worn parking brake control valve can leak air into the vent line, creating excessive back pressure and causing the parking brake to release unexpectedly.
