Technical Summary BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2020 BMW 745e xDrive vehicles. A software error in the electronic control unit (ECU) may disable the audible warning signal for an unbelted driver to fasten their seat belt. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection.
