Technical Summary Forest River, Inc (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 East to West Alta travel trailer vehicles. The inverter may be incorrectly wired to constant "hot" on the second battery, causing the wire to be unprotected from the battery.

Referencing the incorrect GVWR and CCC may allow the vehicle to be overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.

Technical Summary Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Alta travel trailers. The Federal Placard label may have the incorrect axle capacity listed, causing the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) to have been miscalculated. As such these vehicles fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims.
