An improperly illuminated license plate reduces the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Technical Summary McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. (McNeilus) is recalling certain 2010-2024 Rear Loader vehicles. The license plate light was installed in the wrong location and may not fully illuminate the license plate. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
