Technical Summary MCNEILUS IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010-2012 ZR TRUCKS, MANUFACTURED FROM APRIL 26, 2010, THROUGH MAY 1, 2012 FOR FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108 “LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.” THE HAZARD WARNING LAMPS DO NOT WORK WHEN THE IGNITION IS IN THE OFF POSITION.

Technical Summary McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. (McNeilus) is recalling certain model year 2010-2015 Zero Radius (ZR) Side-Loader Refuse Trucks, model 48, manufactured January 1, 2010, to April 10, 2015. The affected trucks are equipped with an air actuated transit arm latch that may loosen over time, causing the transit arm latch to unintentionally release, allowing the arm to extend beyond the overall width of the vehicle.
