A rearview camera that does not display an image reduces the driver's rear view, increasing the risk of a crash.

Technical Summary Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain Mopar Trailer Reverse Steering Control Modules (TRSCM) with part numbers 68423566AE and 68423566AF. The TRSCM may prevent the rearview image from displaying. As such, these modules fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

The modules may prevent the rearview image from displaying when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these modules fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
